“Infinity or the “infinity symbol” (∞) refers to something without any limit, and is a concept relevant in a number of fields; mostly predominantly mathematics and physics. Recognizable history in these disciplines reaching back into the time of ancient Greek civilization, the term in the English language derives from the Latin word “infinitas”, which is translated as “unboundedness”.
In mathematics, “infinity” is often treated as a number. Georg Cantor formalized the concept of infinity and infinite sets during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. In the theory he developed, there are infinite sets of different sizes (called cardinalities).
It is impossible to claim the “infinity symbol” unless you are Georg Cantor (which you’re not considering he died in 1918). Similar to how it is impossible to claim a number, one may not claim the “infinity symbol” in any form. If I were to add my own touch to a number I would still be unable to claim it as “mine” unless it was properly copyrighted and notarized.
It would be lovely if PLG would recognize that it is not about the designs, getting/taking credit or the pages reputation; instead the goal of sites such as these should be simply to support the men and women fighting for our freedom. If it wasn’t for them defending your freedom you (PLG) would never feel entitled to this design considering you would not have the right or freedom to claim anything as “yours” other than the air you breathe.
Not that my two cents means a thing. Thanks again for my shirt MilSO shop! I can’t wait to get it! :)
My man is away…I have nothing else to do all day but study; I know a lot of random facts haha! Do not stress lovely. I love what you are doing here at the MilSO shop; just remember that social media (facebook, tumbler, etc.) and military are two of the most controversial topics in today’s society (among religion, politics and vaccinations). No matter what you do in life there will always be someone who is not happy about it. Learn to smile anyway :)
“I just wish you could be talked to and not have your name trying to be run through the mud. I wish they could understand that that is called defamation and they are liable for being reported for harassing you & so forth. You are the only place I’ll ever shop from and talk to. ♥ Don’t let them get ya down, doll.”
I adore my fans :)
